Terms and Conditions

1. General
These terms and conditions will apply to all transactions placed on-line with ExtremeAudio. Please read carefully before placing any order.  All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights. 

By using this site you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

2. Orders
We are pleased to accept orders by any of the following methods. On-line transaction via secure server, all credit / debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and are authorised by the card issuer. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Switch, Maestro and Solo. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and / or non-delivery of your order. No orders will be accepted or processed without a valid card payment in the name of the registered card holder.

All prices includes VAT at 17.5%. To calculate the tax free value of the goods divide the price shown by 1.175.

3. Delivery Terms
ExtremeAudio offers a FREE delivery and package service on new products sold within the UK mainland.  ANY ITEMS SOLD TO OUTSIDE THE UK WILL BE SUBJECT A CHARGE.  In-stock products will usually be sent out within 3 working days and free of charge after payment has been received in full.  If a product is out of stock either with us or our supplier we will contact you with an estimated delivery date.  You are also free to cancel your order at any time up to the day of dispatch.

In the event that we are unable to supply your goods within 30 days, we will inform you immediately and advise you of the expected delivery date. Outstanding orders / items can be cancelled at any time. In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, deficient of items shown on the delivery note or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within seven working days of receipt.

If we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company's appointed carrier.

Any product with a delivery profile of customised order, Order on request or limited Stock is usually ordered on request, this can take up to 6 weeks. 

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ALL ORDERS WILL ONLY BE SENT TO THE CARD HOLDERS ADDRESS.

4. Returns and Exchanges
Please be aware that any items returned to us which you claim to be faulty or incomplete will be checked and verified by our trained technicians.  If any returned items are found not to be faulty or incomplete they will be returned to you and we shall be entitled to charge you for the return carriage costs and the cost of testing via your original payment method.  In the event that your credit card has expired, or is declined we will hold the item(s) until full payment has been made for the return carriage. Any items that you return to us are done so at your own risk, therefore we strongly recommend that all our customers take reasonable care when returning any items to us for example, by ensuring the goods are correctly addressed, adequately packaged, and sent by a reputable carrier company. Please fill in the RETURNS FORM and send it back with the item. This form should be sent with the item.

Please contact us within 7 working days via email or by phone to register a return with us.

 
In short we will not accept any returns on any of the following:

• Units that have been badly installed or modified causing damaged or have been abused.

• Special / Custom ordered products

• Sealed CD-ROM/DVD navigation and data discs

• Products damaged through being returned in inadequate packaging.

 

5. Distance Selling Regulations
You have a right to cancel your order within seven working days following the day after the date of delivery for any unused item purchased through the website under the distance selling regulations for refund. This does not apply to any perishable goods; unsealed software or item personalised or made to your specification.

To cancel any item, you can e-mail, fax or write to us with your details and order number. You must take reasonable care of the items, retain all original packaging and must not use them. Goods must be returned to us within seven days of your notice to cancel. All goods are returned at your own expense unless the item is deemed faulty or incorrect, where we will refund the cost on receipt of the goods. Providing the goods are received back in an unused condition and in their original packaging with all accessories, you will receive a refund within thirty days of your notice to cancel.

6. Products, Prices & Content
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the pictures and colours depicted on the site match as closely as possible those of the actual product due to technical limitations, some colours may vary.

All prices are shown in pound sterling (£) and are inclusive of UK VAT at the current rate unless clearly stated.
Prices, product descriptions and specifications are checked to the best of our ability, and whilst every effort has been made to make them accurate, no responsibility will be accepted for errors and omissions.
Any information displayed on our web site or other printed matter by the company is not regarded to be authoritative or certified as the best practice and is only considered to be useful supplementary advice to other certified codes of practice. All information on our web site is updated regularly.
We reserve the right to alter our prices and specifications without notice.

7. Ownership of Goods
All items supplied to the customer remain the property of ExtremeAudio until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods has been received in full by us.

9. Privacy Policy
This privacy policy covers all aspects of using ExtremeAudio.co.uk.

We will collect and store information about you to allow us to firstly, process and fulfil any order requirements and secondly to provide you with information to keep you up to date on products, services or promotions we run from time to time. You can opt out of this at any time, either by writing or emailing us. We will collect and store any personal data that you may volunteer whist using our services, e.g. placing an order, joining our e-mail newsletter or entering a prize draw or competition. The type of information that we will collect will include - Your title and name, known address, contact telephones numbers, e-mail address, order and payment details. Details may be forwarded securely to other parties in order to full fill this order only. These will include delivery and payment partners. Individuals registering their details or subscribing to the newsletter online may do so on the understanding that they are aware of the intended purpose for the collection of data. Your personal data will not be passed onto any other party. Our website contains links to third party websites operating their own terms and conditions and privacy policies. ExtremeAudio is not responsible for any content on third party websites. Cookies are placed / collected from your computer to enable functionality of your shopping basket and to recognise you when you shop again.

All information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998

10. Security
We would like you to be confident about ordering online, we use secure socket layer (SSL) technology to ensure that your details are safe and information you provide is fully encrypted so that it cannot be read by third parties. Your browser will confirm that you are shopping in a secure environment by showing a locked padlock icon or an image of a key in the bar at the base of your screen.
