The VIBE R&D masters proudly present the SPACE II range of Performance SPL subwoofers. We use the term sound pressure level (SPL) lightly, because the SPACE II woofer is as much a reference sub as it is an SPL sub - yet it still sits a class above most SPL subwoofers. We have achieved what most SPL subwoofers fail through continuous engineering combined with new technologies and materials ­ this has enabled us to create an immaculate subwoofer ­ producing reference sound quality at huge sound pressure levels.

Making a subwoofer that can produce SPL levels of both tight bass and deep bass to a good musical level is near impossible ­ VIBE R&D have been researching this success for many years ­ we believe we have surpassed on our own goals and now offer it to you in the form of the SPACE II subwoofer.

• SPACE 12 & 15 subwoofers feature a cast aluminium basket to harness the subwoofers high power. The top gasket is removable for reverse mounting.
• A heavyweight flat progressive spider keeps the large 3" (not SPACE 8) voice coil movement 100% lateral - using Conex material (developed by NASA) makes the spider perform continuous movement without wear.
• The massive power handling of the SPACE 12 & 15 demands this high roll hybrid dual layer foam surround to sustain lateral voice coil movement and massive cone excursion.
• A new cutting edge technology has been developed by VIBE to enhance subwoofer cooling. By using a one piece alloy cone and a specially made flanged alloy voice-coil that seamlessly fit together with absolute UNITY. The combination of alloy cone and alloy voice-coil joined as one allows enhanced cooling of the coil. The coils heat is now dissipated directly through the alloy cone, which in effect becomes a THERMAL exchanger. The constant MECHANICAL movement of the cone keeps it cool. This process is totally automated and self sufficient.
• SPACE 12 & 15 subwoofers use double stacked powerful strontium magnets with bumped high excursion T-Yokes the magnets have rubber boots for protection and reverse mount styling.
• Heavy gauge tinsel wires and screw clamp binding posts ensure the best possible connection to the voice coil.
